Marina Perevertkina - Assistant Resident Director, RLASP

Marina Perevertkina received her M.A. in teaching English, French, and Finnish from the St. Petersburg State University (Herzen University). She is now a post-graduate student in the Department of Modern Languages at Herzen University with a major in teaching English and interpretation. For six years, Marina has served as a teacher of English at School 582 and won a Best Teacher of the Year Award for the 2003-2004 school year. She is now working as a teacher of translation and interpretation at Herzen University and serving her first year as Assistant Resident Director in St. Petersburg.

Natalya Aleksandrovna Puzanova - Homestay and Internship Coordinator, RLASP

Natasha Puzanova graduated from Herzen State Pedagogical University in 1990. In 1993 she completed her M.A. after two years of study at the University of Northern Iowa, USA. Natasha has been working for ACTR since 1995 as the homestay and internship coordinator. In 1997 she received her PhD in Linguistics, and started as a docent in the Department of English Philology at the Herzen University.

Nathan Cox - Resident Director

Nathan Cox became Resident Director for our Russian Language and Area Studies Program in St. Petersburg for the summer of 2008. Mr. Cox continued his position of Resident Director for the Academic year of 2008 to 2009. He received his bachelor’s degree in Russian from Brigham Young University, and his master’s degree in literature from American University in 2006. He has worked in international development and education projects in both Ukraine and Russia.
